Telethon Kids Institute

The Telethon Kids Institute is dedicated to the prevention of childhood diseases and disability.

Headed by Professor Jonathan Carapetis and founded by Professor Fiona Stanley AC, the Telethon Institute's success stems from its innovative approach in bringing together researchers from different fields of science to tackle major issues in child health and wellbeing.

Based in Subiaco, Western Australia, the 500-strong team of dedicated researchers aims to: conduct high quality research; to apply research findings to improve the health of children, adolescents and families; to teach the next generation of health researchers; and to be an advocate for research and for children.
